Casual Gala Night by the Lake
It was OK. I thought it was over sold and under delivered. The venue was very nice, the live entertainment talented and the food good and plentiful. But that was it. No gala. Being sports focussed we are not drinkers. It seemed the event then expected everyone to sit around and drink. We were competing the next day and were ready to leave well before the bus was due to return so a group of us ordered a taxi, adding to the already substantial cost
