Join a mindful wellness walk in Helsinki nature! On this relaxed nature walk you will hear about nature's healing effects and get to try some easy but effective Forest Mind exercises. No previous experience needed!

Spending time in nature has been found to promote health. Forest Mind is a Finnish method of mental skills exercises, ideal for promoting self-awareness, relaxation, stress relief, refreshment, and invigoration.

The Forest Mind Wellness Walk happens in Helsinki Central Park forest, close to the city centre. Walking distance 1-2 km, light exercise. The walk suitable for everyone, but participants need to be able to walk in forest paths and uneven terrain.

I am a certified Forest Mind instructor and outdoor activity guide based in Helsinki, Finland. Forest Mind is a Finnish method of mental skills exercises designed to utilize and intensify the natural healing effects of forests. I have seen and felt how nature really affects our mental and physical wellbeing. Nature is a perfect place to enjoy the moment, slow down and get in touch with our feelings and emotions. Come and see for yourself!

Ce dont vous aurez besoin

Wear warm outdoor clothing suitable for weather and shoes that allow walking along forest paths. You can take a water bottle. Please note that there is no public toilet along the way.

It’s nice to have someone call you up and motivate you to get outside and guide you through some restorative exercises in nature, physical or mental. Much more effective than using an app! It’s like letting off steam with a friend while going for a walk, something that’s not possible for all us, particularly at the moment. A real boost for the day or even for the week.
