A small and colourful village lined with cobblestone streets. We will visit the Porvoo cathedral which dates back to the 13th-century, walk through the idyllic town square and handicraft market, visit Porvoo's famous chocolate shop and take photos from the picture-perfect bridge overlooking the old town and river. You will have plenty of time to browse local boutique stores and buy unique souvenirs!

Taiga Times was founded in 2019 by a Finnish-Canadian couple (Kiia & Jeff) whose greatest travel experiences have come from the wilderness. Finland is known for its nature and it's everywhere, even in the capital city of Helsinki. Still, it can be a bit difficult for travelers to explore nature by themselves, especially if they would like to visit the more off the beaten path destinations. 🌲
