You hear story's from Kristiina's famous buildings, of the people who lived in them, weird events and ghosts related to buildings. What is in the history of the oldest building: Tullitupa include? Ulrika Elonora's church was completed in year 1700. Once upon a time, the church burned down, served as a horsebarn and its tower went askew or did it? And what happened to old churchs graveyard? Did the witch's prophecy come true to town hall? Current Kristiinankaupunki's town hall from year 1856 was the forth downtown's built town hall. What happened to Kissanpiiskajankujalle? A ghost walk reveals the deepest secrets of old wooden houses. Do you dare to come listen?

Qui est Natalia - le/la Doer
Natalia Kaleva is an authorized tourist and ghost walking guide in Kristiinankaupunki. Kaleva is also an art and language teacher, but in her spare time she is a passionate history builder and ghost researcher.
The ghost walk led by Kaleva is the only one of its kind. She has been collecting stories from
Kristiinankaupunki since 2010. Natalia has picked up the stories from history books, the archives of the city's museums and by interviewing dozens of Kristiinakaupunki's civilians. She has published her book “Kristinestad City of Ghosts - History and Stories”.
The idea of ghost stories and walks started when Kaleva served as a museum guide at the Carlsro City Museum. Natalia said it all started after this event:
"I was in Carlsron's kitchen when the phone ring. It wasn't my phone. Shocked i started to go investigate the museums phones. The phone ring and ring on the geranium veranda. I wondered what happened and I was terrified because all of the phone's in the museum didn't have the cable on the wall or the cable was cut. Hair upright, I thought, is this ghost call coming from the afterlife? Who is haunting this place? Fortunately, somewhere beneath the stacks of paper was found a cell phone from Carlsron’s travel guides that had the ringtone of an old landline phone. Huh, that eased the situation..." Same summer Kaleva organized a events " Night in Carlsron's Museum" wher was told ghost stories.
Today, ghost walking is a trend in Europe. The ghost walk in Kristiinankaupunki is an exciting experience for you and the whole family.
The Ghost Walk and Natalia wish you a chilling journey into the history of Kristiina with a guide! Do you dare to come? 👻
