We start the hike from a small border village Näätämö, Finland. The path goes through various forests and passes several lakes. The days total walk is about 10 kilometers and we mostly walk at reindeer trails. When we reach the destination; Christmas Mountain, we make fire, eat, rest and enjoy the vievs which reach into three countries. Finland, Norway and Russia. You also get a chance to visit Norway at the top of the mountain.
The hike doesn't require any special skills or equipment. It is possible to do berry picking and fishing on the way.

The hike is possible to do with just sneakers on, but some water proofment in your shoes is an advantage.

Everyone needs to have their own travel insurance. There haven't ever been any accidents on our hikes, so don't worry. This is safe.
It is recommended to have your own sun screen and mosquito repellent.
