We discuss where you wish to be picked up from within Tampere.
The pickup time is at 10:00 by default but tours can all be custom made to suit your needs.
After pickup we take a 50 minute drive to the National Park.
We arrive at the location and gear up and make sure all is aware of the rules.
We start our hike, during the hike we will be taking pictures, looking and talking about the nature, the hike is about 3 - 4 hours depending on the pace.
We will stop briefly to take sips of water and a quite breather.
A main stop of 30 to 40 minutes will happen where we will have hot drinks, and a snack (agreed before the trip in case of allergies etc)
We carry on the hike and at the end of the trip we head back to Tampere to the location you was picked up from.
Any pictures I have taken are sent via Onedrive within 48 hours of the trip.
All the events I do can be custom made and if there is an event I don't have on advertised please feel free to send a message for a quote on a custom made tour you wish to have.

I have lived in Tampere for 12 years and have been a tour guide in various parts of Finland.
Ranging from Aurora chasing, snowmobile safaris, bike riding, hiking, snowshoe walking and photography tours.
I have a great passion for photography, aurora, and the outdoors.
I am currently studying as a nature guide and am planning my business start up for the Summer of 2022.
I have ended my studies and slowly getting my business started and working as a freelance guide.
I hold the correct safety cards for this for example.

This trip is about 9km long so an ability to walk a fair distance. (can be changed for personal needs and I welcome people with disabilities also)
A backpack
minimum of 1.5l water
A chocolate bar, fruit, protein bar, nuts, dried fruit etc (A snack is provided by me during the trip but if you require extras please consider brining something)
Suitable shoes / boots depending on the weather
Spare cloths especially socks in case they get wet.
Waterproof clothing if it is raining

I was looking for a birthday present for my son while he was visiting Finland. I contacted Patrick and he was wonderful. He picked up from his door and returned him to the same address. It was a private Snowshoe tour, made extra special by Patrick's friendly and informative character. Feeling jealous, my son had a great time and if I ever get out to Finland, I will be sure to arrange a walking tour for myself, with Patrick of course :)
